The end of 2008 - a good year

I only have good things to say about 2008... it was the year I was born. I have accomplished so much (and have been too busy to blog):

• rolling over
• sitting up
• sleeping 12 hours a night
• 8 teeth
• eating edamame, green beans and macaroni/cheese
• ear tubes
• standing/toddeling
• babbeling
  

It's all been fun... but, I'm really looking foward to 2009. I am already feeling so much better since I have these new shiny tubes in my ears. Plus, my Dr. told me everynight I have to breathe this mist from a big/noisy machine and it will help me to feel better - and she's right. I can breathe clearly!!!

Plus, I am about to bust out some words any minute - I have my own language now, but apparently mommy and daddy don't speak it - so, I will conform to theirs - it's ok.

Mommy said in 22 more days it will be my 1 year birthday - let the world sing!!!

A day in the life of a 7 month old

I just finished training camp for the NFL - I like playing Tight End, but I might do really well on the Defensive line - I'm very tough!!!!



So, I started baby school last week - it's a fun little place and I'm really enjoying it! I'm going 3 half days a week - mommy drops me off and Grammy pics me up. This will be a big help to Grammy - that way she can go to any Dr appt, or store she wants to and doesn't have to worry about what to do with me :)

6 months old

I'm 6 months old now... lots new in my life. I'm eating much more "solid" food - lots of squash, peaches etc. Oh, an my mommy gave me those teeting biscuts - Lord have Mercy they're fun (and messy!)

And, in other news, I've had lots of visitors lately - Auntie Kelly - Auntie Josie - Auntie Cheryl... they're all very fun!!

And, I went to the Dr.... I'm up to 22 pounds, and I'm 28 1/2 inches long... wrestling camp, here I come!!

Teeth

I HAVE TEETH!!! 2 of them - one came last Sunday, and one came yesterday - phew... that was hard!!! I have been drooling like mad, and chewing on everything in site (like my little dumbbell) and it must have worked, because out the teeth came. Man, I just need a few more and then I'm ready for cheerios and such!!!

4 1/2 months and so much has changed!

I am 4 1/2 months now, and so much has changed! I am falling asleep on my own now - in record time to be quite honest.... and, I am not sleeping in my car seat inside my crib - nope, I'm a big boy now! Mommy and Daddy learned from the Dr. that it was time to do "sleep training" at my 4 month check-up, so I figured I should comply.

Also, I am eating "solid" food - if you can call it that. I started with cereal 2 weeks ago, and this weekend Mommy gave me sweet potato deliciousness... so, I'm not as hungry all the time and much more pleasant to be around :)

95%

Today I am 4 months and one day old!! The Dr. told me that I'm in the 95% for weight - 17 pounds, 10 ounces - - and over the 95% for height - 27 3/4 inches long... watch me grow!!!!!

No wonder I was so stuffed in my Baptism outfit - it was for 6-9 month olds - little pipsqueaks I guess :)
